NYPD Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Suspect in Midtown Subway Groping Incident

NEW YORK, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a forcible touching incident in Midtown Manhattan.

According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at approximately 12:05 a.m. inside 235 West 46th Street. A 25-year-old woman was approached by an unidentified individual who placed their hand inside her underwear and touched her private area.

The suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim did not sustain any injuries during the incident.

The NYPD has released images of the suspect and urges anyone with information regarding the individual’s identity or whereabouts to come forward.
