NYPD seeks seven suspects in fatal Bronx shooting that left two men dead

BRONX — Police are searching for seven individuals in connection with a double fatal shooting that occurred early Monday morning in the Bronx, leaving two men dead.

According to the NYPD, officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 6:00 a.m. on July 28 near 500 Brush Avenue in the 45th Precinct. Upon arrival, they found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One man had been shot in the abdomen and buttocks, and the other sustained gunshot wounds to the armpit and shoulder.

Both victims were transported in critical condition by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where they were later pronounced deceased.

The victims have been identified as Gabriel Alvarez, 22, of Stratford, Connecticut, and Adam Waldropt, 29, of Metropolitan Avenue in the Bronx.

As of Tuesday, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing. Police have released descriptions of seven individuals sought for questioning:

  1. Male, last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.
  2. Male, last seen wearing a white tank top, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.
  3. Female, last seen wearing a white tank top with pink shorts.
  4. Male, last seen wearing a black face mask, black jacket, black shorts, and black and gray sneakers.
  5. Male, last seen wearing a white tank top, blue shorts, and black sneakers.
  6. Male, last seen wearing a black hat, black shirt, red shorts, and black sneakers.
  7. Male, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white sneakers.
