OCEAN COUNTY, N.J. — Alfonso Tapia-Maceda, a 5-foot-4, 200-pound man with an olive complexion, has been incarcerated in Ocean County without bail following charges of attempting to cause bodily injury, according to inmate records.
Court documents list Tapia-Maceda, identified as Hispanic with no formal education, as facing a single charge of violating New Jersey statute 2C:12-1A(1), a fourth-degree offense categorized as “attempting to cause or knowingly causing bodily injury to another.”
Tapia-Maceda has not yet been assigned a projected release date. Jail records indicate his bail was denied, leaving the status of his case open as of now.
