Ocean County Man Faces Multiple Drug and Weapons Charges

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Kyree Darnell Kennedy has been charged with multiple offenses related to drug manufacturing, possession, and weapons violations in Ocean County.

Kennedy was committed on March 28. He faces charges for manufacturing and distributing heroin and cocaine in quantities between half an ounce and five ounces, a second-degree offense. He is also charged with possession of Schedule I, II, III, and IV substances.

Further charges include transporting property derived from criminal activities and using drug paraphernalia, both classified as crimes. Kennedy is implicated in a conspiracy charge and is accused of manufacturing, distributing, or dispensing more than one ounce but less than five pounds of marijuana or between five grams and one pound of hashish.

Additionally, Kennedy faces severe penalties for being a certain person not to have weapons and possessing weapons while committing a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) crime. He is also charged with driving on a revoked list.
