Akron woman wins $25K a year for life in Ohio Lottery Lucky for Life drawing
AKRON, OH – A lucky Akron woman is celebrating a major win after matching all five numbers in the Ohio Lottery’s Lucky for Life drawing, securing a second-tier prize of $25,000 a year for life.
The winner opted to take the lump-sum cash payout of $390,000. After state and federal tax withholdings totaling 27.125%, she will receive $284,213.
Her ticket matched the winning numbers drawn on November 30 — 03, 08, 13, 17, and 18 — missing only the Lucky Ball, which was 17. Matching five numbers without the Lucky Ball secures the game’s second-highest prize.
The winning ticket was purchased at Acme Fresh Market #1, located at 1835 W. Market Street in Akron. Lucky for Life is a $2 multi-state draw game with drawings held nightly at approximately 10:35 p.m., offering a top prize of $1,000 a day for life.
The Ohio Lottery continues to support public education, having contributed over $34 billion since 1974.
