Liberty Township lottery player hits $100K jackpot on Bingo scratch-off ticket

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH – A lucky lottery player in Butler County scored a $100,000 top prize after purchasing a Bingo Times 25 scratch-off ticket at a local gas station, the Ohio Lottery announced Thursday.

The winning $5 ticket was sold at the Eaton Shell on 1009 Eaton Avenue in Hamilton. After mandatory state and federal tax withholdings of 27.125%, the winner will take home $72,875.

The Bingo Times 25 scratch-off game features eight Bingo cards on a single ticket and offers more than $20 million in total cash prizes. According to lottery officials, three of the game’s top prizes and five second-tier prizes remain unclaimed as of Thursday.

The Ohio Lottery launched the game to give players multiple opportunities to win, with a $100,000 top prize on a $5 ticket.

The identity of the winner has not been released. All winning tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the ticket’s published end date.

The Ohio Lottery has contributed over $34 billion to education initiatives in the state since 1974.
