Pair sought after brutal street assault in Queens leaves man hospitalized

QUEENS, NY – Police are searching for two men who beat a 50-year-old man during a violent encounter early Sunday morning near 141st Street and 11th Avenue.

The attackers confronted the victim around 12:45 a.m., sparking a heated argument that quickly turned physical.

Investigators said the men punched and kicked the victim several times before fleeing the scene in a white Chevy Silverado.

The victim suffered multiple lacerations and bruises and was taken by EMS to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Suspects fled in white pickup truck

Police described both suspects as men between 18 and 24 years old. One wore a dark jacket and pants, while the other was seen wearing a dark hat and sweatshirt. After the attack, the pair drove off southbound on the Whitestone Expressway.

Detectives from the 109th Precinct are reviewing surveillance cameras in the area and checking for footage of the fleeing truck.

Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects or vehicle to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. Calls will remain confidential, and tips can also be submitted online or via text.

The motive for the attack remains unclear as the investigation continues.
