Bucks County player hits $1.7 million jackpot in Pennsylvania Match 6 Lotto
Middletown, PA – A holiday lottery ticket turned into a seven-figure windfall for one lucky player in Bucks County who matched all six numbers in Tuesday night’s Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto drawing, securing a $1.7 million jackpot.
The winning ticket was sold at Fine Wine & Good Spirits, located at 162 East Street Road in Lower Southampton Township. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
The winning numbers drawn on December 23 were 5, 8, 24, 28, 29, and 31. The jackpot-winning ticket matched all six numbers, with the prize subject to applicable tax withholding.
In addition to the jackpot winner, more than 61,300 other Match 6 Lotto tickets won prizes in the same drawing. Winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim their prize, and all physical tickets should be signed immediately to protect ownership.
Online players will receive their winnings directly to their lottery account once claims are processed.
The Pennsylvania Lottery continues to remind players to gift responsibly during the holiday season and offers support for anyone experiencing gambling-related concerns through the helpline at 1-800-GAMBLER.
