A progressive jackpot ticket sold in Prince George’s County delivers a six-figure payout.

Temple Hills, MD – A Pennsylvania resident has claimed a $289,415 progressive jackpot prize from the $10 FAST PLAY Grand Progressive game, marking one of two major wins reported by the Maryland Lottery in recent days. The winning ticket was purchased March 28 at Marlow Wings on Branch Avenue, with the prize officially claimed Wednesday at Lottery headquarters.

The retailer that sold the winning ticket, located at 4147 Branch Avenue in Temple Hills, will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the progressive jackpot-winning ticket. The winner’s identity has not been disclosed.

Recent string of progressive jackpot wins

The $289,415 prize follows another significant FAST PLAY win just days earlier. On March 26, a retiree from Bel Air purchased a FAST PLAY Super 777 ticket and secured a progressive jackpot valued at $828,616.

FAST PLAY games differ from traditional draw games and scratch-offs by offering instant results through tickets printed on demand. These tickets are available at Maryland Lottery terminals and self-service vending machines statewide.

How FAST PLAY progressive jackpots work

FAST PLAY progressive jackpots increase incrementally with each ticket sold until a winning ticket is generated. Once claimed, the jackpot resets and begins growing again with subsequent sales.

Among the current offerings is the Home Run Riches Walk-Off Winnings game, which features a starting progressive jackpot of $40,000. Tickets for that game also provide entry into the Contestant of the Game Promotion, allowing players a chance to win additional cash prizes tied to Baltimore Orioles home runs or a VIP game-day experience at Camden Yards.

The Maryland Lottery continues to expand its FAST PLAY lineup as part of its instant-win portfolio, with progressive jackpots remaining a key feature driving player participation.
