Pharmacy hit by smash-and-grab suspects fleeing in Honda

Burglars flee Yardley pharmacy break-in after witness hears glass shatter

Yardley, PA – A brazen early morning burglary unfolded Sunday in the heart of Yardley Borough when two individuals were spotted near a local pharmacy just before glass was heard shattering—sending the suspects fleeing the scene in a silver Honda Accord.

At approximately 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 4, Yardley Borough police were dispatched to the 100 block of South Main Street following a report of a suspected break-in. A witness told officers they observed a silver Honda Accord parked in front of 184 S. Main Street with two unknown occupants inside.

Moments later, one of the individuals was seen walking across the street near Station Cleaners and Yardley Pharmacy. The witness then heard the sound of glass breaking and saw the individual return to the waiting vehicle, which sped off northbound on South Main Street.

Responding officers located signs of forced entry and gathered physical evidence from the scene, which has been sent for forensic analysis. Video surveillance from nearby businesses is also being reviewed as part of the investigation.

No arrests have been made, and authorities have not yet released descriptions of the suspects. Yardley Borough Police are urging anyone with information or surveillance footage from the area to contact Patrol Officer William Beaudet at 215-493-2782, extension 412.
