BROOKLYN, N.Y. – A string of violent robberies targeting pizza delivery workers in Coney Island has police searching for multiple suspects following three separate attacks in the 60th Precinct this month.

The first incident occurred Sunday, October 12, when a 29-year-old delivery worker was assaulted and robbed of several boxes of pizza on West 32nd Street.

Less than a week later, two unidentified suspects struck again, punching a 24-year-old delivery worker and stealing both food and cash on West 33rd Street.

Robbery pattern emerges in Coney Island

Police said the first attack unfolded around 4:35 p.m. on October 12 in front of 3025 West 32nd Street. The 29-year-old victim was making a delivery when an unidentified man grabbed several boxes of pizza from his moped and refused to pay. When confronted, the suspect punched the worker in the chest before fleeing east on Surf Avenue. The victim was taken to South Brooklyn Health in stable condition.

Second assault follows similar pattern

Six days later, on October 18, two unidentified individuals ordered pizza to 2844 West 33rd Street around 7:30 p.m. After handing the 24-year-old delivery worker $60, they took the food, punched him in the face, then snatched the money back before escaping through a nearby housing development. The victim suffered facial redness and pain but declined hospitalization.

Third attack escalates with knife threat

On October 27, violence intensified when two men approached a 23-year-old delivery worker on Neptune Avenue. One suspect brandished a knife while both punched the victim repeatedly in the face and chest. They then stole his moped and house keys before fleeing eastbound on Neptune Avenue. EMS took the victim to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in stable condition.

Police seeking suspects

Detectives are investigating whether the incidents are connected, given the proximity, timing, and similar targets. No arrests have been made, and all suspects remain at large. Police urge anyone with information to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline.
