Police in D.C. Seek Help Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

Washington, D.C. – In an effort to apprehend a suspect involved in a downtown bank robbery, D.C. Metro Police Department’s Second District detectives are turning to the public for assistance. The robbery occurred on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at a bank located in the 1700 block of K Street, Northwest, shortly after 9:20 a.m.

The suspect, who implied possession of a weapon, approached a teller, demanded money, and then fled with the cash. Surveillance cameras in the vicinity captured images and video of the suspect, which have been released by the police.
