LAUREL, MD – Anne Arundel County Police are investigating an incident involving gunfire in Laurel. On January 1, 2024, around 3:05 PM, officers responded to reports of found shell casings at the intersection of Russett Green East and Sagewood Road.
Upon arrival, multiple spent shell casings were discovered on the sidewalk of Russett Green East. Officers conducted a canvass of the area, learning from community members that gunshots were heard around midnight. No victims or property damage were reported in relation to this incident.
