Police investigate theft of motor vehicle in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, PA – Officers were dispatched to a residence on Hazle Street after a report of a motor vehicle theft. The incident occurred on Thursday at 12:57 PM.

According to the victim, a 21-year-old male from Wilkes-Barre, an unknown suspect unlawfully took his gray 2019 KIA Forte. The vehicle was parked near his residence at the time of the theft.

The Pennsylvania registration number for the stolen vehicle is MGC-0306. The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Law enforcement officials are working to gather more information regarding the theft. There have been no reported leads on the suspect as of now.
