Police investigating overnight shooting murder in Gloucester Township

Gloucester Township, N.J. – Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting outside an apartment building in Gloucester Township, announced Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins.

At approximately 11:35 p.m. on 1/13/2022, officers responded to the 1300 block of Blackwood-Clementon Road for reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located a male on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound. He has been identified as David Brown, 28, of Clayton, N.J.

The victim was transported to Jefferson Stratford Hospital. He succumbed to his injury at approximately 12:34 a.m. on 1/14/2022.
