Police investigating robbery at Woodbury liquor store

Woodbury City, NJ – On Sunday at 08:31 PM, Woodbury City Police responded to a 911 call at the rear of Towne Liquors. The call reported an assault had taken place, prompting an immediate police presence at the scene.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered that a young male suspect had committed a strong-armed robbery against the victim.

The incident occurred while the victim was seated in their vehicle, preparing to depart from the store. The suspect approached the vehicle, taking the victim’s belongings using force.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect fleeing toward the vicinity of W Centre St and Lupton Ave.
