Police investigating shooting Linden

LINDEN, NJ – Police in Linden reported a shooting Tuesday evening at around 6:22 p.m. on Middlesex Street. According to the department, one person was shot and is recovering with non-life-threatening injuries.

“Detectives are investigating a shooting that took place last night on the 1100 block of Middlesex St.,” the department said. “At approx. 6:22 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the area on multiple reports of shots fired. A 24-year-old man, believed to be struck during the incident, was located at Trinitas Regional Medical Center a short time later. His injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.”
