WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for two suspects after a shooting Tuesday night in the 3700 block of Hayes Street in Northeast Washington.
The Metropolitan Police Department said officers from the 6th District responded to the area around 9:12 p.m. and are actively investigating the incident.
Authorities are looking for two male suspects. One was described as light-skinned and wearing a white tank top, while the second was dressed in all black. Both were reported to be armed with handguns.
Police are urging anyone who sees the suspects or has information about the case to call 911 and not approach them.
