Surveillance video released in search for armed suspect
WASHINGTON, D.C. — A verbal argument in Southeast DC escalated when one of the people involved allegedly pulled a handgun and pointed it at the victim before fleeing, prompting police to release surveillance video of a suspect.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 6:11 p.m. on July 2 in the 2400 block of Savannah Street, Southeast DC.

The suspects fled the area before officers arrived.
Investigators have released surveillance video showing one of the suspects and are asking for the public’s help identifying the individual.
