NEWPORT NEWS, VA – The Newport News Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect linked to multiple identity theft incidents. Authorities state the individual is believed to have used affected personal information for fraudulent purposes.
The suspect has been reportedly residing at Autumn Lakes Apartments. Police have released a photograph of the individual in hopes that someone may recognize the person.
Officials urge anyone with information to contact the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Tips can also be submitted online at P3Tips.com, allowing informants to remain anonymous and potentially qualify for a reward of up to $1,500 for information leading to an arrest.
“The public’s help is crucial in these investigations,” a police spokesperson noted.
