QUEENS, N.Y. — Authorities are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a theft that occurred last week at a subway station in Forest Hills, according to the New York City Police Department.
Police report that on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m., a 24-year-old female was inside the 71st Avenue subway station when an unidentified individual approached her and removed her headphones from her head. The suspect then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the NYPD.
