WASHINGTON, DC – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect believed to be behind a string of package thefts that occurred throughout September across the District.
The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating at least five cases tied to the same suspect, each involving stolen deliveries taken from residential properties. The cases are linked by surveillance footage, method of operation, and timing, suggesting a pattern targeting unattended packages.
The cases under investigation are associated with the following CCNs: 25134724, 25138435, 25142446, 25424060, and 25145816. Officials did not release specific locations or dates of the thefts, but all occurred within the past month.

Investigators are urging anyone with information about the individual or the incidents to call (202) 727-9099 or send anonymous text tips to 50411.
