MORRISTOWN, NJ – Never mind the insider stock trades she made while sitting on the House Armed Services Committee in Congress, or the Navy cheating scandal.
Even getting her two children free college at the United States Naval Academy pales in comparison to this latest one. Please hold the suspense.Sherrill is no stranger to scandal.

Stock trade scandal
It was discovered that she was fined for failing to disclose stock trades she made, earning nearly $7,000,000 in defense stocks while serving on the Armed Services Committee in Congress.
Before that scandal settled, it came out that she was involved in one of the country’s largest military academy cheating scandals, and the verdict is still out on that, as Sherrill’s shifting alibi leads more voters to be wary of her trustworthiness.
Sherrill originally said she didn’t walk at her graduation because she got into trouble for not snitching on her shipmates. Later, she ammended the story to say that she did take the cheated test, but did not know she did.
Something isn’t adding up, but Sherrill still refuses to release her records to clear the air.

Naval academy self-entitlement
As if that wasn’t enough, this year, Sherrill made sure her two children got preferential treatment by having both inducted into the U.S. Naval Academy.

Not only did Sherrill do it, she completely omitted the fact that two of the three New Jersey candidates to receive this prestigious honor were her own children in her official congressional press release.
Enter Porkrollgate
Maybe Sherrill can get away with these things in her native Virginia, but New Jerseyans don’t miss anything.
“Who eats pork roll? Not me. I think that’s gross,” Mikie Sherrill said. “Nobody wants pork roll.”
Sherrill wasted no time getting herself into yet another scandal this weekend, trashing New Jersey’s beloved pork roll.
“Who eats pork roll? Not me. I think that’s gross,” Mikie Sherrill said. “Nobody wants pork roll.”
Her opponent Jack Ciattarelli, a Jersey born-and-raised guy, fired back, saying “I do!” with a picture of himself eating a classic pork roll, egg, and cheese on a hard roll.

Later, Ciattarelli doubled down on criticizing the Virginia transplant: “Hey Mikie. Tell me you’re not from Jersey without telling me you’re not from Jersey. You know what, don’t worry about it. You remind us of it every day in ways big and small.”
Mikie Sherrill has weathered multiple scandals since running for office, but Pork Rollgate could be the one that finally sinks her political career in New Jersey.
