HARRISON, N.J. – The organization behind Sports Illustrated Stadium, home of the New York Red Bulls, confirmed it is moving forward with a planned food and beverage vendor transition from DNS to Levy, a process described as standard protocol in stadium operations.
The transition comes as the club and venue prepare for the 2026 season, with current concession staff being offered opportunities to continue in their roles under the new provider after a 467 person layoff was announced by Levy earlier this year.
Officials said the majority of existing non-salaried team members are expected to be retained.
Key Points
- Sports Illustrated Stadium is transitioning its concessions operations from DNS to Levy.
- The majority of current team members are expected to be rehired by Levy.
- The venue continues to grow as a regional hub for sports, concerts, and community events.
Vendor transition follows standard industry practice
According to stadium representatives, the shift in concession management is a routine part of operations when hospitality contracts change hands. As employees were hired directly by DNS, Levy is now conducting interviews and hiring for the same roles in preparation for next season.
“In collaboration with our new food and beverage partner, Levy, we are in the process of interviewing and hiring staff to prepare for the 2026 season,” the organization said in a statement. “We anticipate retaining the majority of interested team members across various hospitality roles.”
Expanded opportunities at growing venue
Officials emphasized that Sports Illustrated Stadium continues to grow as a year-round destination, hosting not only professional soccer matches but also major concerts and community events. This expansion is expected to create additional work hours and new opportunities for hourly staff across multiple departments.
