You would think after your guy has been impeached, fear, panic and uncertainty would set in, but Republican leaders across America feel the Democrat coup against President Trump will lead to election victories on the ballot in 2020.
“First Democrats promised ‘collusion,’ but there was none. After ‘quid pro quo’ failed, their focus groups told them to try ‘bribery,’ but there was none,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. “Nancy Pelosi can invent whatever false charges she wants, but the American people see this for what it is: yet another partisan attempt to overthrow a duly-elected President and rob voters of the chance to re-elect him in 2020.”
New Jersey GOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt took the opportunity to inform New Jersey voters exactly which Garden State Democrats voted for the President’s impeachment.
“As America’s economy roars under President Trump’s leadership, liberal elites in Washington let out a whimper today with their partisan impeachment vote. Fake New Jersey moderates Andy Kim, Josh Gottheimer, Tom Malinowski and Mikie Sherrill turned their backs on their constituents, thumbed their noses at democracy and put their partisan political interests ahead of the country’s interests, and voted to impeach the President,” Steinhardt said. “Meanwhile, the issues they were elected to address, like keeping our economy strong, repairing our healthcare system and fortifying our national security, have gone months without attention. The road to a Republican majority in the house runs through New Jersey and, right now, I like our odds.”
Hirsh Singh, the Republican candidate for Senate against incumbent Cory Booker said the impeachment was nothing more than a desperate move by Democrats who have sought to overturn the 2016 election of President Trump since before his inauguration.
“Since the President’s first day in office, Democrats have pushed false dossiers, innuendo, and investigations that lead to nowhere in an attempt to remove the President from office,” Singh said. “Voters in New Jersey and across the country deserve more than political witch hunts and endless investigations that lead to nowhere.”
Singh said that he will remain focused on his mission to remove Booker from office and deliver a New Jersey Senate seat to the President in November.
“The impeachment process now moves to the Senate where Cory Booker will have a chance to prove to us once and for all whether he is truly a problem solver or another partisan politician who will say anything to further their political ambitions,” Singh said of Booker.
