Robbery and Assault on University Avenue, NYPD Seeks Suspect

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A robbery occurred early on Monday, January 1, at 2724 University Avenue.

The New York City Police Department reports that a 32-year-old man was attacked by an unknown male.

The assailant, armed with a knife, struck the victim with a wooden stick and forcibly took his cellphone and around $35.

The suspect then fled on foot. The victim, who declined medical treatment, is now part of an ongoing investigation.
