ROCKVILLE, Md. – Police in Rockville are investigating an early morning shooting that left a home and vehicle damaged but caused no injuries, according to a statement from the Rockville City Police Department.

Officers responded around 3:45 a.m. to the 1200 block of Alison Drive after reports of a fight followed by gunfire. When officers arrived, they found a residence and a vehicle that had been struck by bullets. No victims were found at the scene, and no injuries have been reported.

A witness told investigators they saw a four-door sedan speeding away from the area shortly after the shooting. The car and its occupants have not yet been identified.

Police are treating the case as a non-contact shooting, meaning no one was struck by gunfire. Detectives continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact the Rockville City Police Department at 240-314-8900.
