It was reported to police that on Friday, January 6, 2023 at approximately 1300 hours, in front of a Chase Bank located at 5423 8 Avenue, a Brink's employee was making a bank money drop when two unknown individuals approached him and began to ask for directions. While the employee was distracted, another unknown individual quickly removed a bag that was left unattended on the bumper of the armored Brink's truck and fled the scene on foot heading southbound on 8 Avenue.
