Seaside Park names new chief of police

SEASIDE PARK, N.J. — The Seaside Park Police Department has named Lt. Bryan McKay as its next Chief of Police following a formal promotion during the Borough Council meeting on Friday night.

Chief McKay steps into the department’s top leadership role after serving in various capacities, including most recently as a lieutenant. Sgt. Michael Konfederak was also promoted during the ceremony, assuming the rank of lieutenant.

The department announced the leadership changes publicly, stating, “The Seaside Park Police Department is proud to announce at last night’s Borough Council Meeting, Lt. Bryan McKay was promoted as the next Chief of the Seaside Park Police Department.”
