Seaside Park Police Department opens hiring for full-time officers

SEASIDE PARK, N.J. – The Seaside Park Police Department announced it is now accepting applications for full-time police officer positions through both the Alternate Route Program and intergovernmental transfers.

Officials said the openings are available to candidates who have completed or are currently enrolled in a New Jersey Police Training Commission–approved Basic Course for Police Officers.

Preference will be given to applicants who reside in Seaside Park, the department stated.

Applicants must possess a valid New Jersey PTC Basic Police Officer Certification to be considered for full-time employment. Those enrolled in an approved academy may also apply under the Alternate Route category.

Resumes and cover letters should be submitted to Clerk Jenna Jankowski at the Borough of Seaside Park Municipal Building, located at 1701 North Ocean Avenue, Seaside Park, NJ 08752. Submissions may be delivered in person or sent by mail.
