WOODBRIDGE, VA — A second juvenile suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old man that took place on July 18, 2023, in the 14100 block of Big Crest Lane. The recent arrest occurred on Tuesday in Stafford County, led by the local Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation into last year’s fatal shooting revealed that the incident stemmed from a marijuana transaction that turned violent. During the meeting, which involved the victim and several males, shots were fired, leading to the victim’s death. The newly arrested 17-year-old male juvenile from Stafford joins another juvenile who was apprehended shortly after the incident on July 21, 2023.
Detectives continue to piece together the events that led to the tragic outcome as part of their ongoing investigation. Further details will be provided as the case develops.
