Gloucester County player hits $631K Jersey Cash 5 jackpot at Sewell store

TRENTON, NJ — A routine stop at a Gloucester County convenience store turned into a life-changing moment for one lucky player who scored a $631,783 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot, the county’s second-largest lottery win of the year.

The winning ticket was sold at Country Farms on Egg Harbor Road in Sewell and matched all five winning numbers drawn Saturday: 02, 21, 23, 25, and 39. The Bullseye number was 23 and the XTRA number was 02. Country Farms will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

This marks the 58th Jersey Cash 5 jackpot claimed in New Jersey this year, adding to a growing list of winners in the popular daily lottery game.

In addition to the grand prize, 27 other players matched four of the five numbers plus the Bullseye, each securing a $500 payout.

The only Gloucester County lottery prize to surpass this one in value this year came in September, when Pantry Foodmart in Newfield sold a $1 million Scratch-Off ticket in the $100 Million Diamond Dazzler game.

The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has now reset to $160,000 for tonight’s drawing, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
