Shooting in Baltimore Investigated After ShotSpotter Alert Notifies Police

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore police are investigating a shooting that left a man in critical condition in the city’s Western District.

The incident occurred on June 2 at approximately 5:02 p.m. Officers, responding to gunshots and a concurrent ShotSpotter alert, arrived at the 900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

There, they discovered a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel swiftly transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
