Eastern District shooting leaves man wounded inside Northwest home
Baltimore, MD – A man walked into a hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound, leading investigators to a Northwest residence where the shooting is believed to have occurred earlier that morning.
The incident came to light Wednesday at approximately 10:19 a.m., when officers responded to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim. The victim, a 44-year-old man, was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. He was listed in stable condition.
Preliminary information indicated the shooting happened while the victim was inside a dwelling in the 3500 block of Juneway. Detectives later responded to that location and took over the investigation to determine what led up to the gunfire.
No arrests have been announced, and investigators have not released details about a possible suspect or motive as the case remains under investigation.
