Silver Spring Motorcyclist Killed in Montgomery County Crash

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. – The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) has provided new details about a fatal motorcycle accident that claimed the life of a 30-year-old man from Silver Spring over the weekend.

On August 10, emergency crews responded to a crash involving a motorcycle near Lockwood Drive and Columbia Pike just before 6 p.m. According to MCPD, Christian Ronaldo Guillen was riding a black 1998 Honda CBR600 motorcycle northbound on Columbia Pike.

While making a right turn onto Lockwood Drive, Guillen left the roadway and collided with a metal light pole, resulting in his ejection from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident or has information to contact them at (240) 773-6620.
