South River Thanksgiving week schedule changes announced

SOUTH RIVER, NJ – Due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday, South River officials have announced the following changes to municipal services.

GARBAGE COLLECTION

Garbage normally collected on Thursdays will instead be collected on Wednesday, November 23rd. These residents should place their garbage at the curb Tuesday evening.

Garbage normally collected on Wednesdays will be collected as normal.

RECYCLING COLLECTION

Recycling scheduled for collection on Thursday, November 24th will be picked up on Saturday, November 26th. These residents should place their recyclables at the curb Friday evening.

Recycling scheduled for collection on Friday, November 25th will be collected as normal.

BULK PICK UP

There will be no bulk pick up on Friday, November 25th.

OFFICE HOURS

South River Borough Offices, Department of Public Works, Police Records, and Municipal Court will be closed on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th.

RECYCLING CENTER

The recycling center will be open on Saturday, November 26th from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

Normal hours and schedules resume on Monday, November 28th.
