Stamford, CT – Due to potential rain and thunderstorms forecasted for Saturday, July 6, the City of Stamford is postponing the Independence Day fireworks at Cummings Beach to Sunday, July 7.
Entertainment will begin at 6 PM, with residents encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Food trucks will be available on site, and the fireworks display will start shortly after 9 PM.
Residents should anticipate traffic delays due to road closures and detours. The city appreciates the public’s patience during this time.
