VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – An incident unfolded at Green Run High School as reports emerged of a student possessing a firearm.
Around 7:10 a.m. Thursday, school security and the administration were alerted.
They subsequently detained the student at a bus stop near the school. The handgun was confiscated from the student’s backpack by a VBPD school resource officer. The investigation is currently underway.
