The department plans to enhance enforcement through saturation patrols in targeted areas within the township. These patrols aim to arrest drivers operating under the influence and reduce reckless driving.

Maryland State Police Target Unlawful Car Takeovers
**Baltimore, MD** – Maryland State Troopers assigned to the Maryland Car Rally Task Force will conduct patrols this weekend. The operation aims to curtail unlawful large-scale exhibition driving events in the Maryland National Capital and Baltimore regions.
These events, often referred to as “takeovers,” obstruct public roads. They pose risks to public safety, disrupt traffic, and frequently lead to property damage.
The effort involves cooperation among multiple law enforcement agencies. Participating agencies include the Maryland Transportation Authority Police, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George’s Counties, and Baltimore City police departments.
The Maryland Department of State Police seeks to reduce the impact of these hazardous events on public safety and the communities served.
