**Bardonia, NY** – A brush fire in the Joseph Lane area of Bardonia has spread to a nearby shed. The Nanuet Fire Department, along with mutual aid companies, is working to control the blaze. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
In response to these dry conditions, Rockland County Executive Ed Day has implemented a ban on open burning. Authorities urge compliance with the order to prevent further incidents.
