Jackson Township extends landlord registration deadline to February 28th

JACKSON, N.J. — Jackson Township officials have extended the deadline for landlords to renew their registrations and complete lead-based paint (LBP) requirements, if applicable, until Feb. 28, 2025.

The township will update the municipal website with the revised deadline and ensure all necessary paperwork is accessible to landlords. The extension aims to facilitate compliance with updated rental property regulations while minimizing disruptions for property owners.

The township’s new ordinance, implemented this year, enhances oversight of rental properties, including updated registration processes and safety requirements.

Landlords can visit www.jacksontwpnj.net for the latest forms and information regarding the ordinance.
