Two Arrests Made in Wall Township Home Invasion Case
**WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ** – Two suspects have been charged concerning a home invasion and attempted vehicle theft that occurred on January 20 at a residence on Baileys Corner Road. The incident involved three masked individuals breaking into the home through a rear window.
The homeowner reported that the suspects took car keys but could not steal the vehicle. They fled in a dark-colored car, traveling west on Allaire Road towards State Highway 34 after the homeowner contacted the police.
Detective Zach Honecker’s investigation identified the suspects as 21-year-old Yasir Twitty and 19-year-old Nymir Marks, both from Newark. They face charges, including 2nd-degree conspiracy to commit residential burglary and two counts of 2nd-degree criminal attempt to commit theft.
Twitty is held in Middlesex County Jail, while Marks is in Essex County Jail. The Wall Township Police Detective Bureau continues to investigate, seeking to identify the third suspect involved. **JERSEY CITY, NJ** – A 47-year-old man has been charged in connection with a sexual assault and home invasion in Jersey City as announced by Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez. These incidents reportedly occurred on Sunday, January 5, and charges were filed on Thursday, January 9.
Jermaine Adams faces several charges including Aggravated Sexual Assault, Home Invasion Burglary, Aggravated Assault, and Aggravated Arson. Matawan Man Sentenced for Child Pornography and Invasion of Privacy
**Ocean County, NJ** – Michael Mattina, 59, of Matawan, was sentenced on January 3 to a total of nine years in New Jersey State Prison. The sentence, announced by Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer, includes five years for Distribution of Child Pornography and four years for Invasion of Privacy, to be served consecutively.
The investigation, conducted by the Brick Township Police Department Detective Bureau and Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit, revealed that Mattina secretly recorded six females, including a 16-year-old, using a hidden camera. The videos were posted on two adult websites.
Mattina faced multiple charges on August 17, 2020, including Invasion of Privacy, Distribution of Obscene Materials, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Manufacturing Child Pornography, and Distribution of Child Pornography.
