**Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Investigation Underway in Temple Hills**

**TEMPLE HILLS, MD** – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is looking into a pedestrian hit-and-run accident that resulted in a fatality on Saturday night. The investigation aims to identify the victim, an adult female, with the intention of informing her family.

Police were called to the scene on the 4400 block of Saint Barnabas Road on Saturday at 8:50 p.m. They discovered the victim, who had suffered trauma, on the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver who struck the victim was traveling northbound on Saint Barnabas Road near Leisure Drive. The driver did not remain at the scene after the incident.

Pedestrian Injured in Berkeley Township Vehicle Collision

**Berkeley Township, NJ** – Berkeley Township Police responded to an incident involving a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Saturday at around 10:53 a.m. The incident occurred near 430 Atlantic City Blvd.

Upon arriving, police officers found a blue Mazda and a male pedestrian on the ground. The initial investigation indicated the Mazda was moving southbound when the pedestrian, crossing from the east without using a crosswalk, stepped in front of the car.

The impact propelled the pedestrian into the air and dragged him along the pavement. The vehicle’s windshield was shattered, but it remained otherwise undamaged.

While the Mazda’s occupants were unharmed, the pedestrian sustained multiple injuries, including a severe facial laceration, a compound arm fracture, a broken leg, and road burns. He was airlifted to Jersey Shore Medical Center for evaluation. Officer Slocum is investigating the crash further.

**Bear, DE** – The Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on Tuesday night in Bear. A man was killed in the incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Pulaski Highway.

According to reports, at around 8:48 p.m., a blue 2016 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling westbound on Pulaski Highway, near Wellington Drive. A pedestrian entered the path of the Chevrolet and was struck by the vehicle.

The pedestrian, a 45-year-old man from Newark, Delaware, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.

The driver, a 22-year-old woman, and a 2-month-old passenger, both from Newark, Delaware, were in the Chevrolet and were not injured in the collision. Teen Driver Charged in Utica Incident

**Utica, NY** – On Wednesday at approximately 3:15 PM, a collision involving a motor vehicle was reported on the 400 block of Blandina Street in Utica. Utica Police and Fire units responded to the scene after an altercation led to a vehicle striking multiple individuals.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered several people with injuries from the incident, which stemmed from a series of altercations throughout the day. A 17-year-old female driver allegedly drove her vehicle into the crowd, with four people reportedly struck. The victims’ injuries were serious but not life-threatening.

The investigation led authorities to identify and locate the suspect and the vehicle in Frankfort. Following the collection of medical documentation and witness statements, the teenager was charged with various offenses.

The charges include two counts of attempted assault in the first degree, two counts of assault in the second degree, attempted assault in the second degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. Pedestrian Killed in Stony Point Road Crash

Pedestrian Accident on Stony Point Road Results in Fatality

**Charlottesville, VA** – The Albemarle County Police Department and Fire Rescue responded to an incident on Thursday at around 7 PM involving a vehicle and pedestrians on Stony Point Road near Riverside Shops Way.

Six pedestrians were attempting to cross the road when a southbound sedan struck four individuals, including a 38-year-old woman and three children aged 3 years, 1.5 years, and 4 months. Two juveniles were not hit and required no medical attention. The driver remained on the scene and was unharmed.

All the children were taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The 38-year-old woman also received treatment for serious injuries. Sadly, the 4-month-old child passed away on Wednesday due to the injuries sustained.

Authorities are seeking witnesses and encourage those with information to contact the ACPD Traffic Unit or Crime Stoppers. The incident is under investigation by the Crash Reconstruction Team.
