Philadelphia, PA – Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect in Package Theft Case

The Central Detective Division of Philadelphia is requesting public assistance to identify a suspect captured on video. The individual is involved in multiple package thefts at an apartment building in the 1400 block of North 15th Street.

The suspect entered the building on October 23 and stole tenants’ packages. The suspect reportedly wore United States Postal Service clothing during the thefts.

Authorities describe the suspect as a Black male wearing a blue knit hat with a USPS patch, a blue hooded sweatshirt with a USPS logo, blue pants, and black sneakers. Videos related to this case can be viewed on the Philadelphia Police YouTube Channel and their website.

People are urged not to approach the suspect if seen but to contact 911 immediately. Tips can be submitted by calling 215-686-TIPS, texting 215-686-TIPS, or through an anonymous electronic form on the Philadelphia Police website.
