Ernest Terry Arrested in Connection with Pittsburgh Shooting

**Pittsburgh, PA** – Detectives from the Pittsburgh Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit, along with the Violent Crimes and Computer Crimes Units and Zone 1, arrested an 18-year-old suspect, Ernest Terry, on Tuesday. The arrest took place in the 7200 block of Mingo Street.

Terry faces multiple charges, including five counts of Criminal Attempt Homicide, Criminal Conspiracy, Person Not to Possess a Firearm, and Carrying a Firearm Without a License, as well as Criminal Homicide. **PITTSBURGH, PA** – On Thursday, Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus announced the arrest of Khalil Taylor, a Pittsburgh man wanted on multiple warrants. Taylor, 29, had been a fugitive since May 2023, with probation violation bench warrants related to escape and firearms violations.

Taylor also had active arrest warrants for terroristic threats in Pittsburgh and simple assault in Pitcairn. Detectives gathered information this week about Taylor’s location at a residence on Heart Court in Homewood. They arrived at the residence shortly before 8:00 a.m. Thursday and arrested Taylor without incident.

Following the arrest, detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence. They recovered suspected hallucinogenic mushrooms and a Glock handgun. Taylor is now in the Allegheny County Jail facing new charges, including two firearms violations and two possession counts.

Eugene Camp, 21, faced charges of receiving stolen property, carrying a firearm without a license, and evading arrest on foot. He is currently held at the Allegheny County Jail.

In addition to Camp, a juvenile male and a juvenile female were detained. The police report indicates that two firearms were recovered during these arrests.

Attempted Robbery and Assault Reported in Pittsburgh

**Pittsburgh, PA** – Zone 6 officers responded to an incident on the 3300 block of Allendale Street on Sunday involving an attempted robbery and assault. The victim reported the event occurred after her arrival home from work, shortly past 3:45 a.m.

According to the victim, two males approached her as she parked her vehicle on the parking pad behind her residence. One male attempted to steal her purse from behind, pulling on the strap around her neck. The suspect struck her on the head with an open hand, knocking off her glasses, while trying to seize the purse.

The assailant eventually abandoned the attempt and fled with the second male, retreating down Felbinger Way towards Stanhope Street. The victim declined medical care following the incident.

The suspect is described as a young male, about 5’5″ tall, thin, donning a black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes with a red Nike logo. Authorities request anyone with information or video evidence to contact Zone 6 plainclothes detectives at (412) 937-3051.
