Teen Fatally Shot In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A juvenile male, later identified as 16-year-old Devon Sharp of Northwest D.C., succumbed to gunshot injuries on Monday following an incident over the weekend.

On Saturday, at around 3:28 AM, officers from the Third District of the D.C. Metro Police Department were dispatched to the 1200 block of V Street following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Sharp with a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
