Teen Killed, Four Injured in Tolland County Crash

Willington, CT -A teenager was killed and four others were hospitalized in an overnight single-vehicle crash. The incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Saturday in Tolland County.

A 2007 Subaru Legacy carrying five occupants from Bethel in Fairfield County overturned while traveling on River Road after the driver lost control. Connecticut State Police reported 19-year-old Maria Damata suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The remaining occupants were transported to Hartford Hospital with minor injuries. Authorities are investigating the crash and urge anyone with information to contact Trooper Priscilla Polci at 860-896-3200.
