Teen on the run after fatal shooting of mother and wounding of father

Freeport Township, PA – Law enforcement is searching for an 18-year-old who allegedly shot and killed his mother and wounded his father earlier this week. Jarrod Noll is wanted in connection with the homicide and attempted homicide.

The incident transpired on December 26 at a home on Garrison Ridge Road. Just before 2 p.m., state troopers responded to reports of a shooting.

Officers found a woman and a man at the scene, each suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia for medical attention.

The woman later died from her injuries, while the man remains in stable condition. Investigators later determined that the victims were a married couple and identified their son as the suspect.

Noll fled the scene on foot prior to law enforcement’s arrival. An extensive search of the area surrounding the residence did not yield any results.

Authorities expanded their search and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Noll. The suspect is described as a white male with brown hair and a mustache, approximately six feet tall with a normal build.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a camouflage hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and brown boots. Noll may be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on Noll’s whereabouts is urged to contact Pennsylvania State Police or call 911. The public is advised against approaching the suspect if sighted.

Two photographs from a gas station surveillance camera have been released, allegedly showing Noll. The investigation into the circumstances of the shooting is ongoing.
