MARLBORO, NJ – Fear fans are lining up along Route 79 this October as C. Casola Farms Haunted Attractions unleashes its infamous quartet of horror experiences, promising what organizers call “four terrifying attractions in one location.”
The long-running Halloween haunt has returned with a combination of hayrides, mazes, monsters, and paintball battles against the undead.
The Marlboro scream park, known for its high production and outdoor settings, continues to rank among the region’s most popular fall attractions for those seeking genuine fear under the stars.
Key Points
- C. Casola Farms in Marlboro features four attractions: Haunted Hayride of Terror, 3D Haunted Barn, The Living Maze, and Zombie Paintball
- Open Fridays and Saturdays from 7–10:30 p.m., Sundays until 10 p.m., through late November
- Ticket packages range from $15 single-admission to $65 for the all-access “Ultimate Package”
Four ways to scream
Guests can begin their night on the Haunted Hayride of Terror, a slow, nerve-wracking ride through the wooded backfields of Monmouth County where visitors report seeing and hearing things that come alive in the darkness. From there, the 3D Haunted Barn immerses guests in rooms lined with glowing images, hidden creatures, and eerie soundscapes designed to disorient even seasoned haunt-goers.
Trapped inside the maze
The Living Maze, a twisting outdoor labyrinth, challenges guests to find their way out while dodging live actors and hidden props. Organizers describe it as a “hellish haze” of turns and tricks meant to test both courage and navigation. Many visitors call it the most intense part of the experience — a disorienting race against the unknown.
Battle the undead
The signature Marlboro Zombie Breakout attraction turns guests into survivors. Riders board a military-style truck equipped with mounted paintball guns and are tasked with defending the farm from hordes of zombies. Because the undead don’t shoot back, it’s considered suitable for all ages, making it one of the few family-friendly thrills on-site.
Pricing and details
Individual attraction tickets cost $15 for the hayride, barn, or maze, and $25 for zombie paintball. Combo packages are $40 for three attractions or $65 for the full experience. Tickets are sold exclusively at the box office window, and all sales are cash only.
C. Casola Farms opens each night at 7 p.m. and runs through November 2. Free parking and food concessions — including funnel cakes, hot dogs, and hot chocolate — are available on the grounds. Full event information is posted at hauntedcasola.com.
