The Freehold Raceway Mall, one of the more successful brick and mortar indoor malls in New Jersey is set for a transformation. A proposal has been submitted for a new Dave & Buster’s and the Freehold Athletic Club to take over the former Sears space, which has been vacant since 2019 has been officially approved.

The Macerich Co., owner of Freehold Raceway Mall, has proposed splitting the 74,620-square-foot site between the two new venues.
